Participating in a Turtle Release is a magical experience that contributes to the conservation of endangered sea turtles. Each year, thousands of Olive Ridley sea turtles return to the shores of Puerto Vallarta to lay their eggs. Turtle releases typically occur from August to December. In our Turtle Reseases, participants witness baby turtles making their way to the ocean for the first time, which is crucial for their survival. Guests can engage in this conservation effort while enjoying to release baby turtles to the Ocean. Turtle Camp Activities Brief: Our first stop will be at The Turtle camp, where there are colected up to 1,300 nests during the season. Getting Ready: We will wait for the sunset and, after birds have flown away from the area, we will start releasing the baby turtles holding them in a cocunut shell and wearing latex gloves Book a tour Includes: Small Group visit to the Sea Turtle Camp at Holi Beach (next to La Isla shopping center) A short educational talk about the Turtle Life Cycle and Conservation Efforts.
