"Sailing takes you to some of the most beautiful places on Earth." A deeper connection with Nature: Becoming able to sail only with the wind is a skill that builds your confidence and shows you the sense of freedom that only the Ocean can give. You will gain a more profound comprehension of the Ocean, wind patterns, environment and Marine WildLife ecosystem within the Bay (is common to find whales, dolphins, sea birds and schools of fish during navigation). Whale watching season is December to April. We will meet at our Beach Camp at Playa de Oro, where we have our Hobie Cat Sailboats. Our instructor will teach you the basics of navigating and safety measures, also will provide your guests with life jackets. During the 2 hours of navigation you will learn about sailboat components, how to orient the boat to catch the wind effectively, the different sailing points and basic maneuvers, so you will be able to start practicing sailing the Hobie Cat since the beginning. As part of the sailing experience, we can bring fishing gear onboard to be able to catch some fish during the trip (trolling technique). At the end of the sailing we will prepare a Fresh Ceviche with the Catch of the Day for you and your guests or, if we were no lucky fishing, we will prepare a guacamole snack. Self Sufficiency Experience: From hook to plate, the pleasures of catching and cooking your own fish and provide a truly fresh food for your familly or friends. This Sailing adventure is ideal for guests that also look for a sustainable travel experience, is one of the most environmentally friendly ways to explore the world, harnessing wind power instead of fuel.
